DESCRIPTION

It is identified as a local control valve. It is used as a shut-off valve on water feed lines to disconnect (control) in-situ zones. A butterfly valve or rising stem valve is used to shut off or control. The position of all valvesused in fire systems should be visible and electrically traceable. Butterfly valves are of a gearbox handwheel type. The supervisory switch of a butterfly valve are located inside the valve and there is an on/off indicator on it.
